Bemi-tastic weekend!

While in Colorado Springs this weekend, I went to the zoo with the Bemis girls and my mom and I went hiking with Carrie, Carlie, Tessa, and Kali. Spending time with my nieces was so wonderful. I monopolized Tessa from my parents all weekend. She is such a sweet lil'ham. I enjoyed my time with Carlie as we played at the park and changed Barbie's clothing. It was a fun filled weekend complete with my dad grilling up yummy hotdogs and burgers:)

Chautauqua Hike

Hiking in Boulder is beautiful.

Dave and I had the afternoon off together so we headed to Boulder for a hike, college Ultimate frisbee, and a brewery tour. We headed to Chautauqua Park for a quick hike (which was awesome!), then we headed to Twisted Pine Brewery. Dave loved the Billy's Chili Beer and got a ghost pepper beer to go. I am much to scared of the Ghost Beer, but the other beer was tasty. Not my favorite, but still yummy to try. Next, we got to catch a few Ultimate frisbee games. The college national championships were held in Boulder this year and we got to see MamaBird (CU's Division I team) play and win. They are one of the top teams national wide and it is nice to support the local team! Great afternoon together!

26.2 miles...again!

I ran the Colfax Marathon on Sunday May 20th! It was a brutal run with lots of hills, strippers (it is Colfax), thong runners, crying (twice), and loneliness running without Dave or Amy. But, I finished it! It took me 4 hours 38 minutes which is slower than my personal best, but it is still an accomplishment! I also had a great cheering squad at the finish! Thank you to Dave for meeting me at mile 6, 12, 18, and miles 24-26, and encouraging me to finish strong and stop crying:) Thanks you to Amy for also running the last mile with me. And thanks to my mom, Carrie, Carlie, Tessa, Sarah, and Mark for cheering me at the finish! At least you all saw a strong finish and no puking!!

Baby Hagiwara Shower!

On May 19th, Baby Hagiwara got showered with love (and tons of clothing). Kezia is one lucky woman to have so many loving friends and family to share in the excitement of Baby Avery. It was a wonderful party with champagne punch, onesie craft party, and plenty of women.

Now bring on Baby's debute Kez!! I can't wait to meet Baby Avery in person:)
